Welcome to Cotmit. By accessing our website (cotmit.nexusdigital.net.in), downloading our desktop studio application, or utilizing any of our software, services, and APIs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Cotmit software or platform.
2. Description of Service
Cotmit is a next-generation visual and code website builder and edge publishing suite developed by Nexus Digital. The platform provides tools to create, design, edit, host, and publish websites, complete with two-factor authentication, custom domain routing, and central cloud database synchronization.
3. User Accounts & Security
To use Cotmit Studio, you must register a founder account either via email or Google OAuth 2.0:
- Unique Identity: Usernames must be unique across the platform and may not impersonate others or infringe trademark rights.
- Password Standards: You agree to maintain an ultra-secure password satisfying our length, complexity, and security guidelines.
- Two-Factor Authentication: For your security, accounts are protected by Google Authenticator TOTP verification. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and authenticator secrets.
- Account Activity: You are responsible for all activities occurring under your authenticated session.
4. User Content & Intellectual Property Ownership
Your Ownership: You retain complete, unrestricted ownership of all websites, code, graphics, content, and digital assets created by you using Cotmit Studio. Cotmit claims no copyright or proprietary rights over user-created websites.
Cotmit Platform Rights: The Cotmit software, visual interface, builder architecture, logos, and underlying proprietary algorithms are the intellectual property of Nexus Digital and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use Cotmit to:
- Build or distribute phishing sites, malware, spyware, or malicious payloads.
- Engage in illegal, defamatory, fraudulent, or harassing conduct.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit vulnerabilities, or breach the security of our central database or hosting infrastructure.
- Infringe upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of the offending account and associated domain bindings.
6. Third-Party Integrations & Google OAuth
Cotmit integrates with third-party providers including Google Identity Services and Supabase PostgreSQL. Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms. We strictly abide by the Google API Services User Data Policy regarding user data accessed via Google OAuth.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Cotmit is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that service will be uninterrupted, completely bug-free, or entirely secure at all times.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nexus Digital and Cotmit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your access to or inability to use the platform.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When modifications are made, the "Last Updated" date will be revised. Your continued use of Cotmit following any updates constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
